Completed a Bachelor of Design Innovation (Interaction Design) with a Marketing minor, and a Master of Design Innovation (Interaction Design) concluding in July of 2022.
The Interaction Design major was new to Victoria University in my first year of undergraduate studies (2018) and, as I was the only student in my cohort to pursue a Masters, my thesis is the first of its kind in the programme.

Studying both Design and Business subjects has shaped my approach to work – balancing creativity and pragmatism. The environmental implications of my actions as a designer are a crucial consideration whenever designing anything tangible, hence sustainability significantly influences my work.

In order to be a decent designer, it's important to be a decent human. Conducting human-centred design work requires an understanding of one's personal biases and, most importantly, an inherent desire to make the user / participant feel valued, supported and heard. Throughout my Masters, I was able to fine-tune these skills – of which were particularly important given the sensitive and deeply personal nature of my research.

My career direction at this point in time leans towards UX research, service design and/or product design for healthcare.
